Barrell “Fassl” Lodge
Have you ever spent the night in a wooden barrel? It’s much more comfortable than it may sound!
A well-equipped kitchen, a dining area and a bedroom with a sleeping area (270 cm x 200 cm) for 2 adults and 2 children are just some of the amenities in this self-built “Fassl” (barrell).
In addition, surrounded by a small forest, a new large covered terrace of its own wood, including cooking facilities invites you to relax outdoors, and even a toilet next to the cottage with flush and small sink has been thought of.
For children it is a real adventure vacation to spend the night together with their parents in a wooden barrel – so there is also the possibility to bring your own tent for the children and put it up in front of the hut.
Please understand that we cannot accept dogs in the Fasslhütte. As an alternative with your four-legged friend, we recommend our Almhütte.
For the morning refreshment you have the choice: 70m away at the farm awaits a sanitary facility especially for guests with shower, hairdryer and washing machine. Or you like it really rustic and authentic, then you walk about 1 km long dirt road to the farm’s own pond. There you can not only cool off wonderfully, but also immediately take care of lunch. Rainbow trout, brown trout and char can later be freshly prepared on the grill on the terrace.
